Cancellation Policy for takeaholidays
At TakeAHolidays, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring fairness to all parties involved. Please review the following guidelines carefully.
General Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations Made by Customers
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus a processing fee of $50 per booking.
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- 14 days or less before departure: No refund will be provided.
- Cancellations Made by TakeAHolidays
- In the unlikely event that TakeAHolidays cancels a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will receive a full refund, including the processing fee. Alternatively, customers may opt to reschedule the trip or receive credit for a future booking.
Refund Process
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
Rescheduling Policy
- Customers may request to reschedule their trip up to 15 days before departure, subject to availability and a rescheduling fee of $25 per booking.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 15 days before departure will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the cancellation policy.
Non-Refundable Items
Certain items are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Airline tickets (subject to airline policies).
- Visa application fees.
- Travel insurance premiums.
Group Bookings
For group bookings of 10 or more people, cancellations and rescheduling are subject to specific terms outlined in the group agreement. Please refer to your group booking contract for details.
Force Majeure
TakeAHolidays is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or strikes. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
